About Kobai

Kobai is a Chilean cashback application designed to return money to users for purchasing specific products at partnered supermarkets. Launched by Cristián Rebolledo and Jorge Carrasco, Kobai helps users save money while enhancing brand recognition for partner companies 


ABCDigital was part of the development team that created both the mobile app and the admin portal for Kobai. The mobile app allows users to register, scan receipts, and track rewards, while the admin portal enables efficient management of promotions and user activity. ABC's development expertise was crucial to the successful launch and operation of Kobai. 

How Kobai Works

  • Browse Available Rewards: Users can explore the app to view current cashback offers from various partnered brands.
  • Make a Purchase: Buy the selected products at participating retailers, including major supermarkets and pharmacies such as Jumbo, Santa Isabel, Líder, Tottus, Unimarc, Farmacias Ahumada, and Cruz Verde. 
  • Scan Your Receipt: After making a purchase, users scan their receipts through the app to validate the transaction.
  • Accumulate Rewards: Once validated, cashback rewards are credited to the user's account, which can be accumulated over time.
  • Redeem Rewards: Accumulated cashback can be redeemed for gift cards from major supermarkets and stores across the country.
